A prim and proper elderly British woman, raised on Victorian values, with her greying hair done in a neat bun, and a big puffy dress. She attacks with slaps and thrown gloves. She does not bend over; low attacks are performed by having her little butler, Runtley, do it for her. When crouching, Runtly appears with a short stool for her to sit on. One special move involves having Runtley throw a tray of hot tea at an opponent.

Profile

  • Nationality: British, in the finest Jane Austen tradition
  • Occupation: Dame Commander of the British Empire
  • Age: 50
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Greying brown done in a large bun.
  • Outfit: Elaborate puffy dress with birdcage-style skirt that she can disappear into when she ducks. Also wears elbow-length white gloves, which are used as projectile weapons.

An aging holdover from the Victorian era, Helen was the daughter of a rich real-estate tycoon and a school teacher. Titled Dame Commander of the British Empire due to her efforts in housing refugees after the bombing of London. When her young husband was selected for the Special Air Service in 1943, she was left quite alone. When he didn’t return in four years, she reasoned, “What could be taking them so long over there? I’ve half a mind to get over there and help!” With her diminuitive butler, Runtley, in tow, she set off for Berlin to give Hitler a lesson in manners.

Moves

  • Glove slap. Stronger version takes the glove off first, granting her additional range but a longer windup on the attack.
  • Glove toss. Middle range, has an arc, longer ranges deal less damage but have greater chance to stagger.
  • QCB+Kick: Runtley rushes in and kicks the opponent in the shins. QCF version has him jump before the kick, acting as an Overhead attack.
  • SUPER: Tea Tray Table Turner, sends Runtley in to dump hot tea on the opponent. Easy to block but deals damage in one large hit.
  • Taunt: Helen sips from a tea cup.
