Kyle Rickert

An optimistic young American soldier, just recently recruited. Appears in full uniform, with all equipment, but doesn't use any of it (except maybe his foxhole shovel). Helmet flies off when KO'ed. He's basically the game's "America, Fuck Yeah!" guy. Impossibly good-looking, flashes his teeth during winposes, does the V-for-Victory gesture a la Richard Nixon, even his winquotes are filled with senseless patriotism. Kyle's fighting style is classic boxing, fists only, with the foxhole shovel appearing for some of his special moves (including a Falcon Punch-style attack with it). While Kyle would probably move quickly (though not the fastest given all his gear), his attacks would be a little on the slow side. One of his attacks should involve him taking off his helmet and bashing the enemy over the head with it.

Private Rickert was drafted for Operation Overlord, the Allied invasion of Normandy. He's a total patriot and believes that everything he does is for the good of his country. He cares about nothing else. His ultimate goal is to be the one to fly the flag over Berlin. He operates under the orders of Gunnery Sgt. Casey.

Moves

• Boxing combo: straights, hooks, followed by an uppercut. Moves are powerful, but slow and deliberate.
• Alternate combo that ends with an overhead swing from the foxhole shovel.
• Overhead attack where Kyle pulls off his helmet and jumps to swing it.
• SUPER: Kyle pulls out his shovel and charges up with it like it's a baseball bat, and delivers a brutal home-run swing with it...assuming he hits.

Personality

Super-patriot. Should probably use a lot of propoganda slogans here, probably stuff like "Loose lips sink ships!" "We can do it!" and "We want YOU!"

Rickert is all too happy to celebrate a victory, even if by time-out.

• Kyle pulls out a large American flag and unfurls it above himself.
• Kyle spreads some fireworks around himself and sends them skyward, resulting in lots of red, white and blue explosions.
• Kyle takes off his helmet and throws it into the air, graduate-style. Sometimes, randomly, it will fall and hit him in the head, making him dizzy for a while.

Story

Rickert starts in France and first encounters Elisa, whom he mistakes for a German spy and attempts to wrestle information from her. After realizing he's made a mistake, he takes Elisa with him to Berlin. TBD
