Empty Sandals

"Empty Sandals" was a fiction compilation project. The head of said project commissioned me to write one of a possible three short stories following the same literary tropes. All characters are anthro, the main character is fox-like, and the antagonist (if they appear) is hooved. In most cases, the main character was intended to meet a terrible fate.
The one story I wrote for this project was The Case of the Soulless Sole. The Soulless Sole/Part 2 is in progress.
